about the XLE:
Venue: Trek to Mount Everest Base Camp (till Kala Patthar at an altitude of 18,480 feet)
Social Mission: Undertake AIDS awareness activities in Jamshedpur India and in Nepal (till Mount Everest Base Camp)
Partner: CARE (for executing AIDS awareness). Both the India and Nepal chapters.
Details: The twenty member expedition will be flagged off on the 13th March, 2006 from Kolkata. The expedition will summit and put the Indian tricolor at Kala Patthar (altitude of 18,480 feet) and return on 28th March, 2006, in time for the 50th convocation of XLRI Jamshedpur.
