Thanks KNV for this detail :
On a serious reading of Prof Prithwiraj Nath' article and its references, I did find an interesting article referred therein by Vanitha Swaminathan (BMD90), my esteemed batchmate:
http://www.ascusc.org/jcmc/vol5/issue2/swaminathan.htm
Vanitha's article in turn references Dr Atul PArvatiyar, one of our
Marketing Profs when we studied at XLRI (BMD 1988-90):
"Sheth and Parvatiyar 1995" vide
Sheth, J., N., & Parvatiyar, A. (1995). Relationship marketing in
consumer markets: Antecedents and consequences. Journal of the
Academy of Marketing Science, 23 (Fall), 255-271.
